Colleton Medical Center names Phyllis Bridge medical staff services manager

Colleton Medical Center is pleased to announce Phyllis Bridge has been promoted to Medical Staff Services Manager. 

Phyllis, a Walterboro native, has been an integral member of the Colleton Medical Center team for 38 years. Prior to being named the Medical Staff Services Manager Phyllis served as a data processing clerk, risk management administrative assistant, and medical staff coordinator. 

 In her new role Phyllis provides administrative support to the medical staff, ensures proper credentialing of all physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, serves as a liaison between hospital administration and the medical staff, and manages and maintains records of the Medical Executive Committee. 

“Phyllis is a highly motivated and well-liked leader who is always willing to lend a helping hand. We are excited to see her continued growth and look forward to celebrating her many contributions to Colleton Medical Center,” said Jimmy Hiott, CEO. 

Phyllis is a certified provider credentialing specialist. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her children and grandchild and being on the lake or beside the ocean.
