Colleton Medical Center hold Spring Into Action food drive

Team Colleton donated over 500 lbs. of non-perishables to the Blessing Box, showing their strong spirit of generosity and community care.

Colleton Medical Center staff recently held a friendly inter-department Spring into Action Food Drive competition to stock the facilities blessing box. 

The Health Information Management (HIM) Office won the competion with 70 lbs. of donations. Collectively Team Colleton donated well over 500 lbs. of non-perishable items for the Blessing Box.

“The food drive is just one example of how Team Colleton consistently shows up for our community,” said Jimmy Hiott, Colleton Medical Center CEO.

The Blessing Box can be accessed via the Ambulatory Surgery Center parking lot at 304 Medical Park Dr. The community is invited to take what they need and leave what they can.
