Janice Bryant honored with Lifetime Achievement Award for 49 years of dedicated service by HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital
Members of Team Colleton recently gathered for a surprise celebration to honor Janice Bryant with Colleton’s first Lifetime Achievement Award, in recognition of 49-year of faithful service, defined by compassion and unwavering service to patients, families, and colleagues.
“For nearly half a century, Janice has been part of this family,” said Missy Feather, chief nursing officer. “Through seasons of change — new names, new buildings, and new faces — she has been a steady and faithful presence. She has lived out our mission every single day, not just in what she has done, but in how she has done it: with kindness, professionalism, and a genuine heart for people.”
Matt Woods, Director of Imaging Services echoed Missy’s sentiments adding, “Throughout her 49-year tenure, Janice has touched countless lives. She has welcomed new employees, mentored colleagues, supported patients with exceptional care, and comforted families during their most vulnerable moments.”
If you had an EKG at Colleton over the past five decades, chances are it was Janice who cared for you. Her steady hands, calming presence, and genuine compassion have become part of countless patient stories in our community. As we honor her with Colleton’s first Lifetime Achievement Award, we celebrate not just her years of service, but the lasting impact she has made on the lives of so many. Janice’s legacy will continue to inspire Team Colleton for years to come.
